NITF presents Outburst 500 Tour Belfast #NITF

OUTBURST 500 unleashes the tech trance revolution on Belfast this Boxing Day with a line-up that guarantees to pack a knock-out punch!

This Christmas, NITF invite Mark Sherry and his band of merry men for a full on tech trance takeover in Northern Ireland. After highly successful event tours in USA, Scotland, Czech, Taiwan, England, Canada, Indonesia, Switzerland and Argentina, Belfast is the next pin in the map for the OUTBURST 500 experience!

This is without doubt the biggest OUTBURST 500 line up to date, which includes Mark Sherry’s first performance in Northern Ireland in almost 2 years. Add to that a stunning selection of ‘Northern Irish Debuts’ plus close to 1000 of the NITF faithful, and this is a festive filth fest not to be missed out on at Plastik Belfast (formerly El Divino).

The OUTBURST 500 concept is a branded global tour celebrating 500 episodes of Mark Sherry’s hugely popular weekly radio show. All of the artists featuring on the events release their dynamic tracks and remixes on Mark’s chart topping Outburst Record label and have their own unique flavours of this utterly addictive sub-genre. You can expect lashings of tech infused goodness from the classics to the future sound of tech trance including techno driven, ultra-euphoric melodies, acid and psy laced, filthy grooves, heavy hitting percussion, razor sharp stabs, mind bending fx, bouncy bass drops and relentless hard tech trance energy.

As their debut year comes towards and end, NITF aren’t slowing down and deliver one of the most cutting edge line ups available anywhere in 2017. A sensory spectacular with epic visual production, the likes of which you’ve never seen before at an NITF event, plus thundering sound and elite DJs across 3 floors creating a 100% supercharged atmosphere that you need to be part of!

Mr OUTBURST himself tops the bill and you can expect nothing but mayhem when he enters the booth. The Scottish tech trance tyrant will be armed to the teeth with his usual arsenal of dance floor weaponry and will be testing lots of exclusive new Outburst Records material as well as delving deep into his extensive back catalogue of tech trance treasure. A true legend of the global scene and one of the hardest working artists in the game who brings his own kind of electrifying energy to every dance floor he commands! Mark always ups his game when it comes to promoting his Outburst brand and stable of artists so make sure to bring your hard hats, you might even get a stage dive?

The original OG of tech trance and a real hero of the genre, the V Man returns to NI which has become like a second home to him over two decades. After a few years away from tech trance, the Dutch magician is back ‘In Charge’ with a higher BPM and incredible new sound that will rock your socks off! Certain DJs just never let you down and Marco V is top of that list! A modern production showcase but as always you can expect some of his timeless classics and anthems thrown in for good measure. Who’s ready for a tech trance ‘Tribute’ by the ‘Godd’?

The third headliner is another devastating Dutch deck controller, Richard Durand. He already conquered the world with his early tech trance and In Search Of Sunrise sound, remixing Tiesto numerous times and playing across every continent. Now he’s doing it all over again with a darker and more balls to the wall style of production and DJing. Durand is RELOADED and ready to take on Belfast in his fresh and forward thinking fashion! One of the best remixers of all time and a real hands-on DJ who gets busy in the booth! A real crowd favourite and irresistible addition I think you’ll agree.

Live and direct from Finland, this Scandinavian sound sculptor makes his ‘NI Debut’ in what’s sure to be one of his most receptive crowds yet! Tempo has been making quite the name for himself over the last few years through his unique and signature style of ‘outside the box’ tech trance which is the kind of crazy we love to hear! Monster tracks and remixes on a range of top labels (Outburst/FSOE/Mental Asylum/Create Music) is how he operates. This guy lights up the room with his presence alone and NITF are delighted on securing the debut for one of the leading new age artists in the genre.

The destructive duo 2ND PHASE are yet another ‘NI Debut’ on this mammoth line up. Mark Sherry has really taken these fellow Scotsmen under his wing over the last year and is helping push them into the higher realms of tech trance. TECHNO driven grooves, chunky percussion and big stabs with some beautiful breakdowns and stomping drops is this pair of Glaswegian nutters awaited offering. They have skilfully crafted their own kind of music which causes maximum dance floor damage. 2ND PHASE will keep the Belfast massive well fed on their tasty cuts of heavy hitting techno infused slammers.

Stephen has been no stranger to Belfast this year and it’s no surprise NITF have invited him back to join the debauchery once again! From introducing his blistering brand tech trance and on OUTBUST and since making his debut on John O’Callaghan’s Subculture label, Stephen Kirkwood has secured a residency with the mighty Cream Ibiza @ Amnesia and is a mainstay in the playlists of Armin, PVD, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Mark Sherry, John O’Callaghan, Will Atkinson and pretty much every other DJ worth their salt. One of Scotland’s, the UK’s and indeed the world’s most exciting room wrecking artists who quite frighteningly is only getting started! Aye, aye Captain Kirkwood.

Last but certainly not least and the final ‘NI Debut’ comes in the form of new kid on the block James Kiedis. This talented immerging artist from England has been making a strong impact on the scene over the last 12 months with a string of high quality releases on RAM’s Grotesque label, Outburst , Reloaded, Rielism and many more. Having already played for Luminosity and Grotesque in Holland and with razor sharp production and DJ skills to match the best in the business, James just might steal the show in Belfast. Relentless psy and tech bass lines, glitch-tastic fx, sky high melodies and enough filth to offend a pig farmer, James Kiedis is a future star of the scene.

Hugh Kirkpatrick, Co-founder and Promoter of NITF says…‘’In our first year, NITF has grown from a vision and a club night into an important movement within trance. Our logo and merchandise are proudly worn at every trance event around the country whether it’s our night or not and the people who come to our events have an unquenchable thirst for forward thinking trance music. This is our largest line up and production to date, in other words, all roads have led to this moment and this is the scale of event we want to bring to venues all over Northern Ireland in 2018 and beyond. I would like to thank every single NITF member for supporting us since we launched, it’s been a hell of a year I think you’ll agree! Big love to the NITF online community and maximum respect to the loyal followers who turn up to every event we put on, it wouldn’t happen without you. Let’s do what we do best on Boxing Day, what we’ve been doing all year and take the roof clean off Plastik, anyone for tech trance?’’
